The inclusion of Information and Communication Technologies, ICTs, in school curricula is a determining factor in the improvement of the quality of learning. It is in this light that a two-day technical workshop on the Management of E-Learning Platform (MOODLE), opened in Yaounde on January 12, 2015. Speaking at the opening, the Minister of Basic Education, Youssouf Hadidja Alim, called on participants to make use of ICTs as veritable boost to quality education.
MOODLE is an open management platform destined for teachers, school administrators and learners in a unique robust system sure and integrated to create personalised learning environments. Operational since 10 years, MOODLE is today a free software that exists in over 100 languages and is used by more than 100 million users in the world. The flexible interface is used in schools, businesses, charities, among others. It is therefore an efficient process in distance training.
