Bernard Alphonse Libot is dead

Bernard Alphonse Libot retired journalist from the 11th promotion of the Esstic died on Saturday after a brief illness.

"Daddy went to rest after more than 12 years of illness. It is a relief because, during these years, he bought health. It is a separation that hurt us because he was both the father and the mother. He was our pride," noted Jacqueline Alphonsine Ngo Libot in tears.

"Our big brother never called him papa, he called him Excellence because he was a great journalist, revealed the young lady in tears.

At the announcement of his death, some of his listeners still remembered Bernard Alphonse Libot’s morning show on the morning editions of the 7am news at the national station, CRTV.

He had printed his brand with his intonation which was the secret he shared with his co-host Serge Ngando Ntone (SNN).

A graduate of the 11th promotion of the Esuy-Eesti-Esstic, the native of Badjob in the Department of Nyong and Kellé leaves behind children to mourn him.

According to the family, funeral program will be communicated later.
