The Special Criminal Court (CHT) summoned Minister of fields, territory and land Affairs (Mindcaf) for a case of 10 billion Cfa francs, linked to the deeds of former Crown corporations.
In recent weeks, Jacqueline Koung à Bessiké was summoned to answer for the distraction of more than 10 billion Cfa francs, in relation to the sale of 11 titles belonging to some liquidated Crown corporations, such as the sandouville national railway of Cameroun (Regifercam), the national duties of marketing of commodities (Oncpb) etc.
After her appearance, it is estimated that the fate of the patron of the fields, territory and land Affairs, although depending on the hearing of a number of key players, seems sealed. Both the facts that overwhelm this member of the Government in this scandal seem obvious.
In any case, confidential sources report that Ms. Koung Bessike that the biweekly tried in vain to join, features in a very long list of personalities and other leeches in any genre, suspected of having sold the heritage of the residual assets of the State companies privatized or liquidated.
It is the same for the former Minister of finance, Essimi Menye whose name crystallizes more suspicions at the level of the CHT.
