Biya confirms burial of his late mother-in-law at Mvomeka’a

As it was announced on Sunday October 12, 2014, the funeral of Mrs Mboutchouang née Ndongo Mengolo Rosette Marie will take place over the weekend. A press release from the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon has officially confirmed it.

Expected in Yaounde this Monday in early evening, the remains of the mother of Chantal Biya from South Africa where she died on October 2 following an illness, will be buried Friday, October 17, 2015 in strict intimacy at Mvomeka’a, the village of president Paul Biya and not at Badenkop village of the spouse of the deceased.

Official program of the funeral of Madame Mboutchouang, née Ndongo Mengolo Rosette Marie is as follows

Monday - October 13, 2014: vigil 4H 00pm: -arrival of the remains at the Nsimalen International Airport in Yaoundé -Vigil at the family Residence located at the Bastos district.

Tuesday 14-Wednesday, October 15, 2014: Masses and contemplation 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm: Mass and meditation at the family Residence located at the Bastos district.

Thursday, October 16, 2014: removal of corpse and masses 11 H 00:- removal of corpse at the General Hospital inYaoundé

-Mass at the Cathedral of our Lady of the victories in Yaoundé - Departure to Mvomeka'a -Solemn Vigil Mass

Friday, October 17, 2014: in strict privacy 1:00 pm:-beginning of mass 3 H 00:-burial.
