The Cameroonian army has started evacuating all residents of the town Fotokol in the far north of the country.
The military began the evacuation process this Monday 3rd November 2014 after President Biya reportedly endorsed a plan for aerial attack to track operatives of the terrorist sect Boko Haram.
So far, the population of Galao 1 and 2 and that of Marouare have been evacuated.
It is worth noting that Fotokol is one of the few areas that have witnessed repeated attacks by the terrorist group.
