Reports suggest that the Nigeria-based terrorist group struggled to takeover a Rapid Intervention Battalion (BIR) military camp in Kolofata, Cameroon in the wee hours of January 12, 2015.
However, the Cameroonian troops have succeeded to repel the assault. Sources hint that one soldier was killed as well as an unconfirmed number of assailants.
Meanwhile, Boko Haram is accused of killing approximately 2,000 people last week when it attacked the north-eastern Nigerian town of Baga, near Chad.
