Boko Haram frighten students after 50 were killed in attacks

Classrooms are gradually becoming empty in the North of Cameroon due to the fact that children and their parents fear Boko Haram attacks. In Nigeria, some 50 high school students were killed on Monday in an attack by the sect.

Men of the Nigerian armed Islamist group Boko Haram attacked on Sunday six localities in the North of Cameroon, including Fotokol and Kolofata, simultaneously, killing at least three civilians, according to a source within the Ministry of defence, quoted AFP.

In the extreme north of Cameroon, the atmosphere is dense as fear increases at the border cities of Nigeria. Some parents have resultantly forbidden their children from going to school. Yet despite the multiplication of attacks in this region, schools remain open.
