President Muhammadu Buhari Tuesday afternoon entered a closed door meeting with Cameroon President, Paul Biya inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Biya who is on a two-day working visit to Nigeria arrived the Presidential Villa with his wife, Chantal, and other members of his entourage at about 2pm.
On arrival, he was received at the forecourt by President Buhari; his wife, Aisha and other top government officials.
Biya was welcomed with a 21-gun salute before he proceeded to inspect a guard of honour mounted by soldiers attached to the Brigade of Guards, before retiring to Buhari’s office.
Both Presidents and their officials would treat issues of common interest to both Countries including ongoing bilateral and regional cooperation against terrorism, violent extremism and cross-border crimes.
