Since after the tragedy of March 12, the body of Monique was kept for necessary investigations to take place. And her family have decided that her body will be buried in the land of her ancestors.

"In other to take her body to the land of her ancestors, we met the Governor of Littoral region last week to ask when we can collect the body of my daughter. He told us that it was up to us and that if we are ready, we should establish a program to collect the body. We have therefore scheduled the funeral for the weekend of April 29," says Annette Sen, mother of the deceased.

According to the Le Mutation of April 6, 2016, the mother of the deceased announced with heavy heart that "the remains will be removed in the morning at 8-9 am and departure to the village is expected at 10 am.”

There will be vigil without corpse on April 28, 2016, at the family home in Douala and Burial has been scheduled for April 30 at 11 am in the village where Monique Alvine Koumatéke and her twins will be put in their final resting place.

Her mother was annoyed when Mutations talked about issues on the report of the Commission of Inquiry of the National Order of Physicians. Annette Sen, ignoring information on the report, concluded that: ” If the doctors had done their job, Monique and her babies would be alive.”
