CEO of Government Printing Office dead

Gabriel Nna Abessolo, CEO of Government Printing Office passed away last Sunday in a health facility in the political capital where he was receiving treatment.

Government Printing Office on Thursday, November 13, 2014 was quite as employees of the public company which is close to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization went about their daily tasks.

This deep silence that hanged in and around the premise early this afternoon says a lot about the loss they have suffered. Indeed, the Chief Gabriel Nna Abessolo died November 9, 2014 at the University Hospital (Chu ) where he was admitted because of ill health.

Despite this loss, employees are going about their duties while they plan a befitting farewell for CEO. "We continue to ensure that the work is carried out by the Acting Deputy Director until things are properly put in place. The press will thus continue to function until a new director is appointed, "says Moses Ngae to Moubeke , Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Printing.

Also according to the Pca, the funeral of the deceased would be held next month (December): " The latest information I had from the son of the deceased, Mr Abessolo in Europe is that, he will be in Cameroon by early next month for the funeral preparations. " We are expecting to be there to support his family to give him a befitting farewell" says an employee.
