CFAO to conquer Yaounde

The automotive giant has opened a new branch in the political capital of Cameroon in hopes of becoming closer to its customers.

CFAO Equipment, who specialise in the sale of motor vehicle parts opened its doors in Yaoundé yesterday, in the Ayene neighbourhood.

In his welcome address, the Chief Executive Officer of CFAO Cameroon, Emmanuel Ugolini, stated that "this new agency brand of CFAO will continue to invest in Cameroon to be closer to its customers and to meet the expectations of its major suppliers in terms of development."

With its partners, JCB, Massey Ferguson, Otis, and Loxea Reviews and Culligan, Cfao Equipment offers products such as construction machines, agricultural equipment, elevators and escalators, the softening products and water filtration etc.

According to Emmanuel Ugolini, the entity of CFAO also offers services such as assistance and the complete management of parks. Cam's main activity is the sale and maintenance of heavy equipment, farm equipment and generators, vehicle rental and equipment and installation of lifts etc.

CFAO is now considered a major source of employment in Cameroon, with the company managing a fleet of 1,300 vehicles in contracts throughout the country, 150 trucks, 220 lifts, 180 tractors, generator sets and public works vehicles.

Since its inception in 2012 in Cameroon, the activities of the care ginat has increased by 30 per cent each year.

CFAO is present in 34 countries, including 31 African countries and employs 9240 people worldwide, according to figures from 2010. In Cameroon, the group employs 990 people.
