In Cameroon, confrontations took place Monday between armed troops and the defense forces in Ngaoui in the area of Adamaoua, at the border with the Central African Republic.
The country, already a victim to an open war against Boko Haram along its border with Nigeria, must also defend its border with CAR with uncontrolled incursions from the Seleka and anti-balaka elements which sow terror in the area.
The fixing in the locality of Ngaoui close to the border with the CAR took place very early in the morning of Monday. The attackers had as an intention, according to the sub-prefect of the area, to release some of their companions held in a police station in the city.
The tension at this border post actually goes back to last Thursday, after the assassination by Central African militiamen, of a rich Cameroonian trading in the locality of Saboua.
The border between the two countries was closed at once and then armed troops, not clearly identified which attacked Ngaoui, were violently countered by the Cameroonian forces
