Several Cameroonian companies will take part in the Midest fair which will take place from November 4 to 7, 2014 in Paris, France according to the Cameroonian Ministry of SMEs, social economy and handicrafts, in a press release on Wednesday September 24, 2014.
The Cameroonian delegation according to the communique signed by the Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa of SMEs will consist of outsourcers, SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) and PMI (small and medium-sized industries) as well as officials of the award of subcontracting and partnership of Cameroon. Cameroon’s participation in this event of which SMEs and SMIs will be featured, has three major challenges to tackle.
They include improving the participation of SMEs in GDP of Cameroon through subcontracting, the improvement of the quality of the implementation of the public investment Budget and the participation of local SMEs to achieve 30% of major projects launched by the Government.
