CONSUPE announce prize for the best public administrations

The announcement was made Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Presidency responsible for the higher control of the State (Minconsupe) by the boss of this Ministerial Department, Henri Eyebe Ayissi.

It was during the installation ceremony of the members of the Committee, to produce each year now, the charts of the best administrations of Cameroon to be awarded.

Minconsupe has identified the major problems undermining the Cameroonian administration namely corruption, fraud, lack of professionalism, the low capacity of public services to welcome and educate users.

The immediate consequences resulting are the frustration of users, the exclusion of much of the population from public service and above all a negative perception of the administration. "It is time that we do something at our level, by implementing this 22-Member Committee to prepare the charts of top Cameroonian authorities".

The Committee seeking to curb the evils which undermine the administration, is composed of officials from various Governments as well as people from the civil society and has at its head as president, Minconsupe Henri Eyebe Ayissi.

The initiative has been appreciated by the Minister of public service and administrative reform (Minfopra) also present. "The perception that the users have of the administration is a rather negative perception. There is a crisis of confidence. A Committee like this is very timely because it will help us to improve the quality of service provided to users of the administration", said Ange Michel Angouin, Minfopra.

On a practical level, to raise awareness and a change of habits among others, premiums will be allocated to the best administrations that will be shown in the quality of service provided to users of the public service.
