Even though dust is yet to settle over the recent cabinet reshuffle by the President of the Republic and the subsequent installation of the members of government by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang, the newly appointed Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Supreme State Audit has immediately settled for serious work. Immediately after her installation, Mrs Mbah Acha née Fomundam Rose Ngwari settled in her office to treat some files.
When CT reporters arrived at the Supreme State Audit Office by midday yesterday, one day after the commissioning, work was going on normally with the new CONSUPE boss acquainting herself with some senior staff of her ministry and the different services of the office.
“I have started work immediately yesterday and today morning I continued with the work I started”, she said. She told CT that she began treating files and correspondences she met on her table.
Her meeting with the senior staff she intimated was to permit her to know them individually and collectively so that they understand each other for effective collaboration that will yield dividends.
Their job descriptions, services as well as difficulties were some of the issues the new CONSUPE boss wanted to understand so that together they can work out the way forward.
Apart from receiving personnel of her ministry, Mrs Mbah Acha also received a host of other personalities who came to either congratulate or encourage her. Among those she received was the Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, Michel Ange Angouing.
