Spouses of Delegates of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association visited the Nina IFA Handicraft High School in Mbalmayo in the Nyong and So’o Division of the Centre Region during their sojourn in Yaounde.
The delegation was led by the wife of the Cameroon’s Speaker of the National Assembly Mrs. Fadimatou Cavaye.
The visitors eagerly beheld the magnificent arts as they patrolled the school campus.
The works of art on exhibition included paintings, sculptures and ceramics. The handicraft school which is run by the Roman Catholic mission was founded by an Italian Priest in 1922.
It is the sole handicraft high school in Cameroon and the Central African Sub-region.
Nina Ifa has enrolled more than 190 students made up of over 20 foreigners.
