CPDM to commemorate 32 years of existence today

The Cameroon Peoples’ Democratic Movement (CPDM) will today Thursday 6th November 2014 commemorate all over the national territory, 32 years of President Biya’s accession to power.

This decision to commemorate the annual event is contained in a communiqué recently signed by the Secretary General of the ruling party, Jean Nkuete.

It is celebrated under the theme “all behind President Paul Biya in the battle against insecurity, for the safeguarding of territorial integrity, the preservation of peace and the consolidation of national unity.”

Jean Nkuete noted that the theme was strongly influenced by the destabilization of our country especially in the northern and eastern borders by the insurgence of the Nigerian terrorist group, Boko Haram and the crisis in the CAR respectively.

According to the Secretary General of CPDM, cohorts, advocates and militants of CPDM have been cautioned across the country to support the national president against insecurity and in the fight against the most dreaded Ebola virus.

The circular signed by Mr. Jean Nkuete pleads with members of government, mayors, Parliamentarians and Director Generals amongst others to unite this Thursday, in their respective localities behind President Paul Biya for the success of the celebration and the regime.
