CRTV Honours Partners

The first edition of the CMCA Golden Partnership took place in Yaounde on November 29, 2013.

It was a special evening at the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) Production centre in Mballa II, a Yaounde neighbourhood, on Friday November 29, 2013. The event was a gala night for partners called "CMCA Golden Partnership" organised by the CRTV Marketing and Communication Agency (CMCA).

In spite of the heavy downpour, guests thronged the garden of the television production house as early as 7:00 p.m. in order not to miss any part of the event. It was a moment of sharing and conviviality between the CMCA and its partners. Speaking during the occasion, the Minister of Communication and CRTV's Board Chair, Issa Tchiroma Bakary, said CRTV CMCA, after 10 years of turbulence, is back on its feet. He called on CMCA to pursue efforts and ensure that the best is given to customers.

He also thanked partners for their support, patience and collaboration. The audience watched a presentation on CRTV. It was an insight into the world of excitement which led to the unveiling of the CRTV slogan, "More than serving you... we share your dream." One of the major highlights of the evening was the presentation of a symbolic gift to partners by the staff of CMCA. The surprise gift from the staff of CMCA was the "Wall of Fame" of the CMCA which carried the logos of all partners of the CMCA.

The Wall of Fame which was unveiled by the Minister of Communication carried two words, "Working Together", meaning henceforth, CRTV will work with its partners. Unveiling the Wall of Fame, Issa Tchiroma Bakary said the CRTV will do all it takes to gain the confidence of partners and customers. He said the table is in line with goal of the CRTV to be at the heart of the nation. The Wall of Fame will be placed in the hall of CMCA for all to see.

The objective of the gala night was for CRTV to honour its partners and to express gratitude to them for being with CRTV. The event which was in its first edition brought together members of government, diplomats, announcers, the civil society and the business world.
