Diaspora Africa Tv (Dhan-Tv) supports that the Cameroonian public television has failed its part of the collaboration contract during the last edition of the Davoc held in Paris from 20 to 21 November 2014.
Cameroonian public TV is accused by Diaspora Africa Tv (Dhan-Tv) for "intellectual dishonesty, a serious breach of the contract (insert our logo or quote us because we have all mails relating thereto), a characteristic theft of our productions and a screaming lack of moral integrity on their part, be it Crtv, or its reporter."
According to the account of Diaf Tv, their organ wanted to graciously help a brother in need. "At the last Davoc (Draw a vision of Cameroon), which took place in Paris from 20 to November 21, Diaf-Tv was partner of the event. We then, at the request of the organiser, the Casa-Net network, graciously helped Crtv who was associated with the event without cameraman or camera but just a journalist in the person of Mr. Séverin Alega Mbele," reporter Allain Jules, one of the collaborators of Diaf-Tv.
He indicated that he put at the disposal of Séverin Alega Mbele images taken by Pravat and kamayiti.com. The only requirement from Crtv, was that, they site Diaf-Tv in the reports, what was not done according to him.
"We were therefore surprised that Crtv broadcast 25 and 26, and November 27, our images and those of kamayiti.com, without even mentioning us. What is the interest of the journalist or the Crtv not to mention us? Why not cite its sources?", questioned Allain Jules.
One learns that a summons was addressed to Séverin Alega Mbele by Dhan-Tv sponsor, Ngassa Happi Lewéon on Friday, November 28, 2014. They indicated that: "Crtv has not paid us for the coverage of the Davoc because images does not belong them. It is prohibited to make use of our videos without mentioning us. It was the contract. Please fix within 24 hours, this violation of this contract and therefore the property of others. Otherwise, we will be obliged to proceed otherwise".
