CRTV’s Priso laid to rest

The remains of CRTV’s Staff Priso Yves Betrand have been laid to rest in his home village Medjounou the South Region.

He died on December 26, 2015, in Yaounde after a brief illness.
Betrand Yves, before his death, worked for close to two years at CRTV’s Sales and Provision Department.

Over 500 persons witnessed the Funeral ceremony including the Central Director for TV CRTV - Charles Ndongo and the Representative of CRTV’s Director General Gabriel Belinga who extended the corporation’s condolences.

From the Yaounde CNPS Hospital Mortuary, the remains of Yves Betrand were taken to his village at Medjounou the South Region for burial.

His departure according to some Family members was sudden and unbearable. “A wide gap left, a man who took over paternal responsibilities after his father’s death!” they say.

A gap also for CRTV’s Basketball club. Members of the club attested that they had spent great moments with Priso at the basketball club. He was a talented player and was devoted to boost the morale of the team.

The officiating pastor at the Funeral Rev. Dr. Jean Marie Ntongo Bitti Exalted Christian mourners to be prepared to face death at all times knowing that life on earth is temporal. To him, Priso who became a Christian before death will live again.

The remains of the lone boy in a family of four were laid to rest in the vacuous eyes of his widowed mum, four kids with Honorine, a union to be legalized February 2016, sisters and cousins.
