CUD developes initiative to promote sanitation in schools

A crusade against dirtiness has just been launched by the urban community of Douala (CUD) and Hysacam.

"Zero piles of trash in our schools” is the name of the operation started in the wake of the Festival of youth, by the urban community of Douala and the Hysacam society.

It intends to resolutely fight against sanitation in schools in Douala. "This operation plans to eliminate the existing pile of garbage in our schools and encourage the young people towards more civic gestures", explained Cud.

Selected institutions will receive material donations to sustain the sanitary option in schools.

The first beneficiaries, lycée bilingue de Bonabéri, were invited by the Cud Government delegate, Dr. Fritz Ntone Ntone, to perpetuate this action everywhere, not only in schools but also in [their] respective families.
