Cameroon /Israel Cooperation: Cameroonian students receive scholarship

Some ex-students of the regional college of Agriculture in Ebolowa have been awarded scholarships.

The Cameroonian students who are expected to acquire more skills in agro pastoral techniques for 11 months in Israel.

While handing over the students’ passports containing travel visas, the Israeli ambassador to Cameroon Nadav Cohen congratulated the beneficiaries advising them to take full advantage of such rare opportunities.

The ceremony was witnessed by the Governor of the South region, Jules Marcelin Ndjaga in Ebolowa.

The governor highlighted the timeliness of the scholarship noting that they will gain more skills at a time when Cameroon envisages second generation agriculture.

The Director of the Regional school of Agriculture re-echoed the Governor’s advice to the agro pastoral technicians on the need to be Cameroons ambassadors of agriculture in Israel.
