The Minister of External Relations, Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo has granted audience to the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary General for Central Africa, Abdoulaye Bathily.
Discussions during the audience of 12th August 2015 focused on transition in the Central African Republic and terrorism.
The UN representative expressed satisfaction with the respect of prescribed regulations ahead of the elections in the Central African Republic.
Abdoulaye Bathily also saluted Cameroon’s efforts in fighting terrorism especially the Boko Haram insurgency.
He promised the UN’s continuous support to Cameroon in the fight.
