Mohammed Sifaoui expressed this view during the show "C'est dans l'air" Tuesday, January 13, 2015 on France 5.
This is a point of view which may enrage several Cameroonians who are confident of the ability of the defence forces to meet the enemy, Boko Haram, and who welcomed the defeats recorded on the front.
According to the journalist, writer and French filmmaker Mohammed Sifaoui, Cameroon has no army to deal with a major offensive by the Islamist sect Boko Haram.
"We need to say it now, Cameroon is a country that has no army. That is, if tomorrow there is a major offensive in the North of Cameroon, it is another area that may fall into the hands of the jihadists and there, it will be problematic," he said during the show "C'est dans l'air" Tuesday, January 13, 2014 on France 5.
According to the author of the book entitled: 'My assassins brothers,' "France must inform the United Nations to raise all of its allies for reinforcement. On the diplomatic level, these things must be said," he advocated.
He presented Boko Haram as a terrorist group capable of putting at risk the stability of the country. "We see what they are doing in a part of Nigeria, today, one sees that they are interested more in adding Cameroon, and it is possible that it may eventually extend beyond the two countries to launch external operations on other African countries," analysed the guest of Yves Calvi.
