Cameroonian Stéphane Tiki appointed youth president of France's UMP

The former student of collège Fustel in Coulanges, Yaoundé has been in France since 2005. The new youth leader of the main opposition in France comes from Africa and more precisely from Cameroon.

Stéphane Tiki, 27 years old, was brought to the head of the Union for a popular movement (Ump) on December 17, 2014. In the release having sanctioned the meeting of the "popular youth", Nicolas Sarkozy, recently returned at the head of this party which once brought him to the Presidency of the French Republic, announced that "the members of the bureau have unanimously asked Stéphane Tiki to accept their presidency". He replaced Benjamin Lancar, who left 2 years ago to continue his studies at the École nationale d'administration (Ena).

The provisional bureau that oversees the former student of the Lycée Fustel de Coulanges, in Yaoundé, will live until next spring, period chosen for the formation of the new party which will emerge from the grassroots of the Ump.

The new head of the youth and his collaborators will breathe new life into "popular youth" and make suggestions to make this movement spearheaded by the new political formation whose birth is expected in the spring of 2015. One of these missions is the increase in the number of members (20,000 if we stick to the Ump figures).
