Canal Plus, the French cable television company, has ratified the distribution of its TV bouquets to Africa Creolink Communications, TNT and TV+, reported NexTVame.
Viewers will not need to purchase a satellite dish to receive the Canal Plus channels.
Details about the agreement have not been given but it is recognised that Canal Plus has imposed was some conditions concerning competition.
They are to do with piracy prevention, encryption, and a system to calculate the number of paying subscribers.
The conditions imposed by Canal Plus would thus limit access to the distribution of its opponent in Cameroon which includes the SuperSport channels, owned by South African group Multichoice, and BeIN sports.
