Catholic University Inst. of Buea to go autonomous
Employees of the Catholic University Institute of Buea, CUIB have been called to take ownership of the university. They have been asked to take over the management of the university’s resources and the development of the institution.
This was made known in a meeting with the pro-chancellor, Rev.Fr. George Nkeze on the upcoming congregation of the first group of Bachelor degree graduates slated for December 6, 2014.
During the meeting, the pro-chancellor also advised workers to keep the values of the university and to focus on the students who are key stakeholders of the institution.
The pro-chancellor applauded workers for their commitment and contribution to the institution to ensure that they achieve their mission to train professional and leaders with good moral and spiritual values who will contribute to the sustainable development of their communities
