Chadian envoy visits Unity Palace

Moussa Faki Mahamat, special envoy of the Chadian head of State, was received Tuesday by president Paul Biya.

The head of State, Paul Biya received in audience the Chadian Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Integration, Moussa Faki Mahamat, special envoy of the president of the Republic of Chad, Idriss Deby Itno.

Hosted shortly before noon in the porch of the unity Palace by the head of State Protocol, the Chadian Envoy was introduced to the president of the Republic for a half-hour interview.

Questioned by the press on the content of the talks, the special envoy of the Chadian head of State revealed that he handed over to president Paul Biya, a firm plea from his brother and friend Idriss Déby Itno.

Referring to the relations between Chad and Cameroon, Moussa Faki Mahamat said that his visit was part of continuous consultation between the two heads of State. An intensification of the cooperation between Cameroon and Chad has been noted lately.
