The Chamber of Agriculture has organised a two-day exhibition to showcase ways of improving crop cultivation and ensure food supply.
The first ever exhibition was organized to familiarize stakeholders with the ways of getting quality seedlings to ensure production in quantity and quality.
According to the Secretary General of the Chamber of Agriculture, Dr Nwana Sama David, the ultimate goal of the encounter is to update stakeholders on how the right seedlings can be treated in order to increase production in line with third generation agriculture.
Dr Nwana Sama further noted that the exhibition was organized to create a platform for exchange amongst farmers, acquisition of fertilizers and other farming products at affordable prices.
The initiative was taken to address the problem of quality seedlings and fertilizers for farmers in the country.
