Customs warrant officer murdered in Douala

He succumbed to punches received during a confrontation with his employee on the night of Monday, October 27. The inhabitants of "UCB" are still in shock since Tuesday, October 28, 2014, a day after this heinous crime which led to the death of a customs warrant officer.

There was consternation at the home of Aba Tigana, the victim. However, according to sources at the vicinity, Aba Tigana died a few hours after fighting with the driver of his motorcycle.

"In reality, Mr Tigana had bought a motorcycle and he arranged with a young man, who had to work and pay him every night. At the beginning everything was fine. But at some point the guy began to act differently. On several occasions, Mr Tigana asked the young man to return the bike in vain. He complained and was unsuccessful", says a neighbor under anonymity.

According to the information gathered, it came to the situation where the victim had to decide to personally take charge of the case. "Last weekend, Mr Tigana cornered the boy as he passed by and demanded the return of his bike. After a violent dispute, they exchanged blows on Monday, October 27, though I was not there but I learned that the victim was passing in the area where the bike driver lives and he was copiously abused by him. He returned home and did not make mentioned of it to anyone. It was after he began to feel sharp pains that he told them what had happened. Unfortunately, he died before he was taken to the hospital", revealed a witness.

Once informed of the incident, the perpetrator in question fled. "As soon as he learned that the customs officer died, he disappeared. But since he still lived in the family home, the police arrested his father, his mother and sister, and have opened an investigation," he added.

The body of Aba Tigana was deposited in the mortuary of the military garrison of Bonanjo.
