Detention of two Cmr'ians of french origin, a great concern

In the aftermath of the sentence to 25 years in prison of the french lawyer Lydienne Yen-Eyoum, another French family of Cameroonian origin expressed concerned.

Jeannette Foumbi denounced the arbitrary detention and abuses on her husband Jean-Emmanuel Foumbi in Cameroon.

French businessman of Cameroonian origin has been in detention for thirteen months in the New Bell prison in Douala and has to be transferred to the central hospital in Yaoundé.

A trial is underway in Cameroon for scam in intellectual property for a patent developed by Jean - Emmanuel Foumbi, while the case has been classified without suite in France by the Bobigny Court.

According to his wife, businessmen, disappointed by this verdict, set a trap for the French to come to Cameroon after which he was detained.
