The Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA) envoy discussed Cameroon’s ratification of certain international legal instruments, with his host yesterday, May 26, 2016.

The representative of Cameroon’s Parliament at the New York-based Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA) network, Honourable Mandio William Peter paid a courtesy visit yesterday, May 26, 2016, to the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Relations with the Commonwealth, Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute. Discussions during the audience centred on the ratification by Cameroon of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court as well as the Treaty on Arms Trade.

“I leave this meeting satisfied by the answers given me on Cameroon’s stand. I will transmit this to PGA’s international secretariat,” he told the press after the meeting. The PGA is a non-profit, non-partisan international network of committed legislators which informs and mobilises parliamentarians in all regions of the world to advocate for human rights and the rule of law, democracy, human security, non-discrimination and gender equality. It is made up of over 1500 parliamentarians from 135 countries.
