Ebossé Death: Issa Tchiroma preaches tolerance and fairplay

The entire Cameroonian people are shocked by the tragic death of Albert Dominique Ebossé Bodjongo. His family is still under shock despite FCFA 50 million that will be paid. In addition, they will collect Ebossé’s wages until the end of his contract with the club.

According to Minister Issa Tchiroma Bakary, the remains of Albert Ebossé arrives Friday and every effort has been taken to ensure everything goes normal, it is also to be noted that the Cameroonian government is deeply saddened by the death of our fellow citizens.

To console the public, the Minister of Communication invited Cameroonians to be tolerant and abide by fairplay. "What happened last Saturday must not break-up the existing relationship between Cameroon and Algeria.

"But however appropriate measures must be taken to ensure that history does not repeat itself because despite the interest it carries, football remains a sport after all.

"Whatever the outcome of a match, violence should not take over the spirit of brotherhood.

"We must pay tribute to Albert Ebossé.

"In agreeing to go play in Algeria, he showed his determination to face the trials of life.

"Albert Dominique Ebossé was among the rising stars of Cameroonian football.

"If looking at his last season performances on Algerian soil, one can say that his career was promising. Many people even believe that it had its place among the Indomitable Lions". He said.
