Edouard Ebah Abada Commissioned

The new MINMIDT SG will have to pilot to success the roadmap of the ministry.

Power has officially changed hands at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Mines, Industries and Technological Development (MINMIDT). The newly appointed Secretary General, Edouard Ebah Abada, has been installed into his new functions with a call to redouble efforts so that the ministry attains its objective of effectively and sustainably taking off giant mining projects in the country as well as ensuring that local processing of the minerals is assured in line with the Head of State's Greater Accomplishment Programme.

MINMIDT boss, Emmanuel Bonde, made the call yesterday September 18 while commissioning into office the new SG. Edouard Ebah Abada takes over from Ebang Mve Urbain Noël appointed in the same capacity in the Ministry of Finance. « You should ensure a better coordination of central and decentralised services of the ministry, ensure celerity in treating files, centralise the ministry's archives as well as ensure better capacity building for the personnel," the Minister urged.
