Electricity Restored to Bonanjo

At about 10pm on Sunday August 26, electricity went off at the Bonanjo administrative quarters.

An inhabitant in the quarter explained there was a thunderous sound as though a bomb had exploded and this caused some screaming around the quarter. The affected areas include the houses in front of Lycee Joss, the left building inside residence Maka, and the military camp, among others.

According to AES-SONEL technicians, the lights went off as a result of a fuse which exploded. But as of 2am Tuesday, a team of Aes-Sonel technicians finally reinstated electricity in the quarter and activities now move on smoothly.
