Electricity in Yaoundé back to normal

eneo Cameroon announces the end of the work on the High Voltage line damaged in the explosion on Saturday night of the gas cylinder depot in the Abattoir Etoudi locality.

The major operations of eneo was to rebuild urgently the destroyed tower and ten kilometers of cables ravaged by flames.

Line commissioning tests were successfully carried out at 19:30 on Monday night. Ngousso and Kondengui areas had energy injected back into the grid at the benefit of customers.

The Director General Joel Nana Kontchou wanted to "greet and congratulate this feat of response teams who worked tirelessly, in exceptional circumstances, to reactivate the connection," eneo Cameroon maintains however its teams on standby to intervene quickly in areas where disturbances persist because of probable blackouts.

Customers are therefore invited to inform immediately the customer center of eneo Cameroon on number 8010, in cases of persistent failure in their area.
