Ahoua Don Mello, an ex-Ivoirian minister of Territorial Administration under ousted President Laurent Gbagbo was arrested on Wednesday at the Douala airport as he was to board a Royal Air Morocco flight, security sources unveiled.
Don Mello who had found refuge in Ghana following the post-poll crisis in Ivory Coast was in Cameroon to attend a meeting of the Executive committee of Democratic Social Front (SDF).
Several Ivoirian government officials contacted by the African press agency (APA) have refused to comment on the arrest or any extradition process being undertaken against Ahoua Don Mello.
