Communication Minister, Issa Tchiroma Bakari made a press briefing Wednesday evening to confirm the Boko Haram Fotokol attack that saw the loss of many Cameroonian soldiers.
However, the minister made no mention of the identities and number of the Cameroonian soldiers who lost their lives during the stand-off.
Yesterday a reliable military source hinted The Cameroon Journal that six Cameroonian soldiers were actually killed in the attack and three others injured.

The three injured soldiers are; C/C Ihassou
C/C Youssoufa Gangueou Maloudou
Cal Tachi Celestine
The Cameroon soldiers also seized from the insurgents several combat material including: 01 carat 105mm HS, 01 AR Galil and 01 cinder PA.
In the course of the battle, military reinforcements were deployed including 40 BIR elements to Bodo, 60 to Kousseri, 60 to Waza, Mora and CN 155mm battery stationed in Waza.
