Legal experts and other stakeholders in the legal system have begun reflecting on the implications of legal frameworks in the fight against terrorism.
This is during a three-day three-day conference opened this June 8, 2016, by Abane Ongolo on behalf of the Minister of Higher Education.
During the opening session, the Director of the International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC), Pierre Emmanuel Tabi emphasised the need to re-examine laws governing the war against terrorism in order to make them more efficient.
The legal experts at the meeting say they want to efficiently accompany those fighting against terrorism
They shall therefore exchange notes so as to pick out some of the limitations to the fight in Cameroon and attempt to tackle them.
