The organisers of the development of tourism held a programme in Bangoua under the theme: promotion of social tourism for all. Already implemented in Morocco, Benin and Mali, Cameroon a newcomer intends to familiarize with the new concept.
Social tourism according to the IOST (International Organisation of Social tourism) is "all reports and phenomena resulting from participation in tourism and in particular the participation of low-income social strata. This participation is made possible taking into consideration, measures of a social character well defined".
Bangoua, one of 13 groups of the Department of the Nde, is undoubtedly full of tourist attractions. Despite this great potential, Bangoua as other parts of the territory of Cameroon remains less patronised.
Decision makers of the country are not ready to provide immediate solutions. With the smallest budget of the ministerial departments, the Ministry of tourism oscillates between the paradox of poverty and its road map prescribing selling the image of the national triangle abroad. Hence, with the creation of this salon, S.M Djampou Tchatchouang Anick Julio, King of the area, remains very optimistic.
