Some of the latest group of soldiers who crossed to Cameroon after being overpowered by Boko Haram insurgents have reportedly been transported back to Nigeria through Mubi.
An eye Witness, Magaji Abdul told newsmen that the soldiers who arrived in Mubi town looked terrified and exhausted with some of them in incomplete uniform and non uniformed clothes.
"About 100 soldiers were conveyed to Mubi in trucks, we learnt they were from the Cameroon side where they hid in the bush and that it took a lot of effort to locate some of them because they dispersed in various directions.
Their clothes were torn and dirty and some of them could only be identified as soldiers because of the bullet proof vests", he said.
