Fraudster caught in Bépanda falsifying documents

A young woman has been arrested following the seizure of a hard disk at the Futura cybercafé in Bépanda containing several stolen documents belonging to Cameroonian officials.

Some of the stolen information includes, particular stamps of the Regional Delegate for National Security, the signature of the Minister of Arts and Culture, the certificate of conformity of the Agency Standard license UN Convention on contracts for the international sale of art objects from the National Commission anti-corruption (Conac) and the hallmarks of some expatriates.

Based on information obtained from sources, JM Zebaze offered her "services" for 5000 FCFA for each falsified document.

The fraudster was arrested last Friday by officers of the mobile Intervention Group (GMI), and was transferred to the judicial services in Bonanjo. The documents were seized and an investigation is underway.
