The delegate of the Government at the urban Community of Douala, Fritz Ntonè Ntonè, recently paid a visit to some work zones in the city under the "Holiday program" which is in full swing to mark the 3rd edition of beautification activity, hygiene and safety.
From the Regional delegation of national security to Parcours Vita, passing through the rond point Deïdo, students, pupils, unemployed and even street children were busy cleaning up the city with boots on their feet, broom in hand and dressed in aprons.
"I work seriously and without pressure, said Ariel Ngolin, a Tle A4 student of Akwa North high school". "I work here in order to find an occupation or do training in the next academic year with my earnings", says Franck N, 19 years old street child.
The works include the filling of potholes to cleaning chocked gutters etc. The future centre of manufacturing and prefabrication of road equipment is housed by these same young Bonamousadi district. "It is a descent of evaluation and encouragement for these young 400 registrants in this holiday program", assured the Government delegate Fritz Ntonè Ntonè, looking really satisfied.
