Funeral in honour of Rosette Mboutchouang held this weekend at Nanga Eboko

Buried in October at Mvomeka’a, Rosette Mboutchouang, mother of Chantal Biya and Mayor of Bangou, received homage from the people of the upper Sanaga Saturday and Sunday.

The funeral in honor of Rosette Mboutchouang, the late mother of Chantal Biya and mother-in-law of the head of State Paul Biya took place this Saturday, December 27, 2014 in her city of origin, Nanga Eboko, capital of the Department of the upper Sanaga. Several senior officials of the Republic of Cameroon mobilized to go and pay her tribute in this city.

Jean Claude Mbwentchou, Minister of housing and urban development also visited this Friday morning to ensure the progress of the work of beautification of the city. The main City Commissioner reassured that all arrangements have been made for the safety of persons and property. The Mayor of the Commune of Nanga Eboko Roland Roman Eto, is responsible for mobilization of people for this event.

As a reminder, the death of Madam Mboutchouang, born Ndongo Mengolo Rosette Marie was announced by the civil cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic on October 02, 2014. Originally from Nanga_Eboko and Mayor of Bangou West of Cameroon was buried the 17 October 2014 at Mvomeka’a, village of the head of State, located in Meyomessala.
