Seven community projects will receive more than 160 million CFA F in grants under the Global Environment Fund Small Grants Program (GEF SGP), the United Nations Development Programme in Yaounde has announced.
A committee approved the project which was shortlisted from a list of ten projects.
“The implementation of these community projects will contribute, among others, to fight soil degradation and climate change as well as conserve biodiversity for the sustainable management of natural resources,” the UNDP said in a statement.
