The key points discussed were electronic governance and the evaluation of the implementation of the support project for the modernization of surveys and business climate in the country.
The Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Jean Pierre Biyiti bi Essam in the cabinet meeting held in camera reportedly presented the National Strategy on E-governance. He underscored the use of the strategy in the continuous optimization of service delivery, consistency, participation and governance by transforming internal and external relationships through technology, Internet and the media.
State Property, Surveys and Land Tenure Minister, Jacqueline Koung à Bessike on her part, presented an evaluation of the implementation of the support project for the modernization of surveys and business climate. The project is aimed at modernizing the State land service and land tenure management, reinforce land certificate trust and restore the confidence of banks. In order to boost the business climate, the project sets out to put online, documents concerning the country's land market.
Prime Minister Philemon Yang reportedly encouraged both ministers to continue with reforms to modernize the country's public service.
