Haut Penja counter HR allegations by Transparency Int'l CMR

In the month of August 2014, Transparency International Cameroon published a scathing report questioning the unorthodox and criminal practices carried out in the region of the Mungo and Njombe-Penja, Loum, Manjo, Mannengole by French banana plantations.

In its report titled, ‘the Fruit of the Discord and SA flavor policy acid’, Transparency International Cameroon after a meticulous and thorough investigation, showed step by step how banana operated by the French in Cameroon (Compagnie Fruitière de Marseille) indulge in corruption and violations of human rights in this part of country.

This same report in the month of August, confirmed all accusations made by Paul Eric Kingue at the time when he was Mayor of the town of Njombe-Penja; accusations that cost both his function as elected municipal office and also his freedom for seven years.

To counter the report by Transparency International Cameroon, Plantations of the Haut Penja held a meeting with all the staff delegates to prepare a petition on the strength and conditions for all the poorly paid workers by this tax delinquent employer on October 02, 2014.

All workers of PHP who do not presumably sign this petition against Transparency International Cameroon would be simply sacked from the plantation.

The coordination of this criminal approach would be for the time being conducted by a certain Jules Epoh (Manager of standards in this company) funded by the French of the PHP.
