Headmistress Detained for Dupery

Mrs. Gisele O., former Headmistress of Government Nursery School New Bell-Aviation is presently gnashing her teeth at the Ngangue Brigade following accusations of dupery during her tenure of office. Talking to some parents, CT gathered that rather than the official CFA 7500 francs required for registration, Mrs. Gisele O. levied parents various sums ranging from CFA 50.000 to CFA 120.000 francs into Nursery One and Two. Her demise came when she was replaced for the 2012-2013 academic year due to retirement, after 12 years of service in the school.

The new Headmistress issued an order for parents to present their registration receipts, without which their children will be sent away. Ironically, most of the parents did not have receipts, while a few had hand written notes. Upon sighting the former Headmistress on the school's campus on Tuesday October 2, the disgruntled parents stormed the premises and held her hostage in her office. At press time, negotiations were ongoing to recover and reimburse the parents, while the Pedagogic Inspector had authorized that all the pupils continue classes undisturbed.
