A three-day sub-regional workshop on the control of internationals calls has ended in Yaounde under the theme “Economic stakes and prospects on the control of incoming calls.”

The workshop which ran from 18th to 20th November 2014 brought together telecommunication experts in Central Africa to discuss ways of reducing financial and other loss sustained as a result of international calls derailing from norms.

While chairing the opening of the workshop, the General Manager of the Telecommunications Regulatory Board (ART), Jean Louis Beh Mengue revealed that the influx of new subscribers and telephone operators has made the control of incoming calls burdensome.

It is with all these and more that the experts converged in Yaounde to come up with solutions to the state of confusion in the operation of international calls within the country.
