Issa Tchiroma explains photoshopped photo of Biya

Three days after the release and the withdrawal of faked image of Biya paying tribute to soldiers killed in the war against Boko Haram from the official website of the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon, Issa Tchiroma, the Minister of Communication and spokesman of the Government, published Wednesday, March 11, 2015 a statement in which he accused hackers of having laid this act to soil the image of the President and the Cameroonian army.

"After all verifications, the false news attributed to the official website of the Presidency of the Republic, is the result of a coarse photographic montage done by a hacker who got into the site and no doubt driven by the desire to soil the honour and dignity of the head of State, defence and security forces and the nation."

"This despicable maneuver comes at a time when the people of Cameroon as a whole, have decided to form a sacred union around the head of the State and the defence and security forces. The person thus set out without a doubt to create diversion and distraction, an attempt to undermine the morale of troops on the frontline and demobilize the whole nation in the great spirit of solidarity " explained Issa Tchiroma.

Since the publication of this faked image, many Cameroonian accused collaborators of the head of State who is now on a private stay in Europe to have made themselves this photo montage to please their boss.
